Established in 1936, The Animal Clinic stands as a proud pioneer of veterinary care on Galveston Island. More than just a clinic, it's a legacy built on compassion, community, and a love for all creatures great and small.
Nestled right on the beach in a historic house, our location reflects the spirit of Galveston itself - welcoming, relaxed, and deeply connected to the community. This unique setting, awarded the Texas Heritage Award, offers a warm and comfortable environment where both pets and their families feel at ease.

The Cat Clinic
We offer a separate cat-only clinic right next door to our main building. It’s the only, feline only practice on the island! Here cats can receive the specialized treatment they deserve in a more peaceful cat friendly environment. All of our Veterinarians are members of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and would love to meet your feline friend. We provide compassionate veterinary care.

Sally's Fund
The Animal Clinic tries to help homeless animals in need whenever possible. Sadly, many of those animals come from neglect and abuse cases and require extensive medical care, which can lead to financial constraints. For this purpose the clinic has created Sally’s Fund, named in honor of a shelter dog in need.
